Mizumi at the Wynn
Discover the enchanting world of Japanese gastronomy at Mizumi. Located in the luxurious “Wynn” hotel, this restaurant is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas streets (I dined here for my birthday in 2023).
Every table offers a picturesque view of a mystical Japanese garden with a koi pond and a breathtaking 90-foot waterfall, through floor-to-ceiling windows. Chef Min Kim offers some of the city’s most exquisite Japanese cuisine, featuring fresh sushi, sashimi, miso-glazed Peruvian toothfish and 48-hour grilled pork belly with pumpkin puree. Mizumi also features a robatayaki bar and a teppanyaki room. For a truly unforgettable experience, book the floating pagoda table, accessible via a private path winding through lush gardens.

é by José Andrés at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
José Andrés, America’s favorite avant-garde Spanish chef, is celebrated in Las Vegas with several restaurants under his direction. Among them is the exclusive jewel “é by José Andrés”. Hidden away in the Jaleo restaurant at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, this secret spot offers an intimate dining experience. With only nine seats around a curved bar, guests have the privilege of watching Chef Andrés’ team prepare each dish before their very eyes.
Reservations for this coveted experience must be made by emailing the restaurant 3 months in advance, and if confirmed, you’ll receive your gratuity. The “é” tasting menu consists of over 20 small dishes. No menu is available online, so Al Mancini suggests you leave it to the expert hands of the chefs.

Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Las Vegas
Monsieur Guy Savoy, a culinary legend in France, has brought his culinary art to the iconic Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which the world knows thanks to Céline Dion.
A restaurant between modernity and sophistication, in the image of the innovative French cuisine of its culinary god. Although the dishes may seem basic, the flavors are simply extraordinary. In addition to the main dining room, guests can choose to dine in the Bubbles Lounge or, even more intriguingly, in the glass-enclosed Kitchen Table, where culinary magic happens. Al’s favorite dishes on the Guy Savoy restaurant menu include grilled marinated hamachi, artichoke soup with truffle and white asparagus with caviar.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
When Bazaar Meat by José Andrés opened at Sahara (Ex SLS Las Vegas) in 2014, it redefined the steakhouse concept. The refined aesthetic of a hunting lodge paved the way for a menu that went beyond traditional steaks. The heart and soul of Bazaar Meat lies in the hearth, where steaks are simply seasoned and perfectly grilled.
In addition to sumptuous dry-aged steaks, the restaurant offers an array of charcuterie and a raw bar with tartares and carpaccios. Foie gras en barbe à papa, José’s Asian tacos and the dessert basket are among the highlights of the menu. This is one of my favorite restaurants!

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand
The first time I tried out a workshop was in the 6th arrondissement of Paris! And Atelier means a less formal moment. For a more relaxed and affordable experience, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, which means “workshop” in French, offers both small tastings and à la carte menus.
If the atmosphere is more like a nightclub than a temple of gastronomy, the cuisine is simply exceptional. Al Mancini’s favorite dishes at L’Atelier include scallop carpaccio with sea urchin, Iberian ham with grilled tomato bread and crispy crab fritters. Don’t hesitate to take the food and wine pairing option for a total experience!
