You couldn’t begin your stay in this glittering city without taking a stroll along the famous Strip! This iconic avenue is lined with casinos, luxury hotels, restaurants and shows of all kinds. As you stroll along the Strip, you’ll have the pleasure of admiring replicas of famous monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas or the Sphinx at Luxor. I’m willing to bet you’ll feel very small during this visit!

How to get there

You can’t miss the Strip! The avenue is easily accessible from any point in the city. You can get there by Deuce or SDX bus, cab or car. If you prefer to walk, however, I suggest you put on comfortable shoes, as the avenue is several kilometers long.

How long should I allow?

If you’re planning to take the time to stop and admire the various attractions, and perhaps try your luck in one of the casinos, I’d say you’re looking at around 3 hours.

How do I book and how much does it cost?

Strolling along the Strip is free of charge. However, as you’d expect, some of the attractions along the avenue, such as the shows and rides, are not free. Prices vary according to the activity chosen.

2ᵉ activity: The Bellagio and its fountains

If you don’t know, the Bellagio is one of the most luxurious hotel-casinos in Las Vegas. What attracts visitors most, however, are its famous fountains. The water show, with its play of light and music, is a real feast for the eyes.

How to get there

The facility is located in the heart of the Strip. You can walk from the Strip or take the Deuce or SDX bus.

How long will it take?

The Bellagio fountain show lasts around 15 minutes and is performed every half-hour in the evening. For the latter, allow half an hour to enjoy the show to the full. If you’d like to try your luck at the slot machines, it’s up to you to decide how long you’d like to play. Bear in mind, however, that casinos in the U.S. are not open to anyone under 21. So if you’ve come with your family, you’ll have to find another way out!

How to book and how much does it cost?

The fountain show is free and requires no reservation. Just turn up in front of the Bellagio at show time. For the casino part, it’s up to you to set the maximum amount you want to play.

Do you find museums boring? With the Neon Museum, you might just change your mind! Also known as the Boneyard, it displays its many illuminated signs in the open air. As you stroll among them, you’ll have the privilege of discovering unique and iconic pieces recounting the evolution of Las Vegas through time and… its neon lights.

How do I get there?

The museum is located at 770 Las Vegas Blvd N, just a few minutes’ drive from downtown. If you don’t have a car, you can take bus 113 or 208 to get there.

How long is the tour?

To take advantage of the guides’ explanations of the history of each brand and to visit the museum, it’s best to set aside 2 hours.

How to book and at what price?

The Neon Museum is a popular tourist attraction. It is therefore advisable to book your tickets in advance on the official website. Admission is $20 for adults, $16 for seniors and students, and $12 for children aged 7 to 17. Admission is free for children under 6.

In my opinion, this is a must-see in Las Vegas! Fremont Street Experience is ultimately a pedestrian street covered by a huge LED screen. The light shows are simply breathtaking. In addition to the light shows, you’ll find historic casinos, open-air concerts and a host of street performers. A real feast for the eyes!

This street is located in the city center. So you can easily get there by bus or cab.

How long will it take?

It would be a real shame not to devote at least 2-3 hours to the Fremont Street Experience. This time will give you the chance to linger over the many events and shows and fully enjoy the unique atmosphere.

Access to Fremont Street is entirely free. Certain attractions and shows, however, require the purchase of a ticket.

Red Rock Canyon is about a 30-minute drive from Las Vegas. To discover these magical places, I recommend renting a car or, better still, booking an excursion to get there.

How long will it take?

Most people who visit Red Rock Canyon plan on spending half a day there. In fact, 4 to 5 hours won’t be too much if you want to try out the various trails and rest in the different viewpoints present.

How to book and how much does it cost?

Entrance to Red Rock Canyon costs $15 per vehicle. Tickets can be purchased on site or online. If you’re planning to visit on the weekend or during the vacations, don’t be foolish not to book your tickets in advance.

The High Roller is located on the Linq Promenade, within easy walking distance of the Strip. For the less courageous, the Deuce or SDX bus will take you there.

How long does it take?

The entire High Roller tour takes approximately 30 minutes. Allow an hour for the wait and the ride.

Tickets for the High Roller are available online or on site. Don’t be surprised! Prices vary from $20 to $40 per person, depending on the time of day. I recommend booking in advance, to avoid queuing at the ticket office.
